Serves 8 to 10 Source: The Food Network contributed by Laura Phillips Laura writes: "I used your Grape Salad recipe and it was delicious - sprinkled cheddar cheese on top. This was taken to a family reunion. Here's a recipe below I will share with you that is another large dish for a family gathering." Ingredients 5 cups shredded cabbage 1/2 cups almonds, toasted 1 1/2 cups dried cranberries 1/2 cup celery, diced 1/4 cup chopped green onions, white and green parts 1/2 cups chopped green bell pepper Dressing: 3/4 cup mayonnaise 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish 1 tablespoon honey mustard 1 tablespoon honey Salt and pepper 1) Combine cabbage, almonds, cranberries, celery, green onions and green pepper in a large plastic bowl with a snap-on lid. 2) Combine all dressing ingredients, adding salt and pepper to taste, and refrigerate until ready to serve. 3) Pour dressing over slaw just before serving. Stir well. |
