Caution: it isn't low cal or low fat, but it does contain fresh apples and that has to be good for something. Ingredients: 5 Apples 1 tbsp Lemon Juice 1/2 cup Butter 1/2 cup Brown Sugar 1/2 cup Quick Oats 1/2 cup Flour 1 tsp Cinnamon 1 tsp Nutmeg 8 oz Heavy Cream 1. Pare, core and slice apples. 2. Arrange sliced apples in a well-greased casserole/baking dish. 3. Sprinkle with lemon juice. 4. Melt butter in saucepan and add brown sugar, oats, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. 5. Mix well and sprinkle over the sliced apples. 6. Bake in 350 oven for 35 minutes or until apples are soft and top mixyure is golden. 7. While baking, whip cream. Serve warm with whipped cream on top. |
